Who we are

Slab Consultancy is responsible for the personal information collected through slabconsultancy.com. You can contact us at Hello@slabconsultancy.com or on +44 7723 928901.

What we collect

  • When you request a discovery call: your name and email address, and if you choose to give them, your phone number, business name or website, what you need help with, your business stage and your message. We also record the page you used and, if you arrived from an advert, the campaign tags in the link, so we can see which adverts bring enquiries.
  • When you book through our online calendar: the details you enter and the time you choose.
  • If you use the Speak button: your browser’s own speech service (for example Google in Chrome or Apple in Safari) turns your voice into text in the form. We receive only the text, never a recording.
  • If you accept analytics or advertising cookies: information about how you use this website. See Cookies.

How we use it

  • To reply to your request, arrange your call and prepare for it. We rely on taking steps you have asked for before a contract, and on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
  • To measure which pages and adverts bring enquiries, only if you consent.

We don’t sell your information, and we don’t make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.

Our use of AI

We use AI tools, including our own diagnostic tool and AI models from other providers, to help prepare for discovery calls using the answers you send us. If you become a client, information you share for a business diagnosis is covered by a separate written agreement that sets out how it is shared, stored and used.

Who we share it with

  • Cloudflare, which hosts this website, and Google, which stores your request and runs our email through Google Workspace.
  • Calendly, our scheduling service, when you book a call through it.
  • The providers of the AI tools we use, as described above.
  • Google, Meta and TikTok, only if you accept analytics or advertising cookies.

Some of these providers are based outside the UK. Where they are, your information is protected by safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for up to 12 months after we last spoke. If you become a client, we keep records for as long as our contract and the law require.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, ask us to restrict or stop using it, or ask for a copy to take elsewhere. Email Hello@slabconsultancy.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or to the data protection authority where you live.
